"Air Bergy" Lands In The USA Today!

Olympic Gold Medalist and current #1 ranked Freestyle Aerial Ski Jumper, Eric Bergoust will be featured in a half page ad in Thursday's USA Today. This ad was developed to highlight the USOC's renewed interest in drawing attention to several programs and their redesigned web-site.

As part of the USOC.org web-site, Bergoust does a regular training tips section, diary and interviews with some of the 2002 Salt Lake City Games brightest hopefuls. This advertisement will be a call to action for fans of the Olympics to join the USOC's Gold Medal program and get on-line with Eric.

"I am proud that Aerials have really become an important part of the Winter Olympics. I have dedicated my life to the sport and teaching young athletes about the fun and thrills of being fifty feet above the ground twisting and turning while focusing on a perfect landing." Many consider Bergoust an artist as much as an athlete.

Bergoust is the reigning Olympic, World and World Cup Champion and is considered the "Father of Aerials" by many in the sport. Eric will attempt to capture another Gold Medal at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games.
